Pros: I remember the old days when you had to use F12 to copy your screen to the clipboard then Paste it into an image editing program like mspaint or photoshop just to save the image on your pc.
Snagit was the first alternative screen capture program that I have ever used and It does everything I need it to and more. I am sure there are other alternatives out there and maybe even free alternatives but I have been following snagit fromt the start and I really like it.
Cons: It costs money and I think there may be some free alternatives on the market. I have never tested them however.
Pros: This anti-spyware software works and runs a quick scan daily on my PC. Has a full scan, quick scan and custom scan option and real time protection that doesnt hinder my pc's performance. It also comes with many other optimization features like startup program manager and PC optimizer to name a couple.
Pros: This program is free and it works. It would be nice if it had a right click to scan individual files. It has a decent interface and doesnt crash my pc.
Pros: Avast recognizes viruses that AVG doesn't that's why I switched to Avast. This program has everyting I need in a virus scanner. Silent Gaming mode is a nice feature.
Pros: Instant Demo is a good solid application that does not have the traditional time line typical video editing software has. If a time line bother's you then you may really like instant-demo.
Pros: I have been using this software for a long time and it just keeps getting better all the time. With the new 3d version bring ease of use for effects. Basically you can make a polished demo without having to get your hands dirty and manually add effects and talk bubbles. Its that easy. I also own Camtasia Studio and instant-demo which are also good programs but Demo Builder deserves the Gold for ease of use and Flashyness. You can't go wrong. It would be nice if they had more output options like more control over file compression and quality and also just more output options in general.
Cons: There aren't really any cons other than I wish it had more output options for control over your final production.
Pros: The program interface keeps getting nicer graphically and it performs without error.
I have been a long time user of Registry Mechanic and will continue to use it unless something free that i trust as much comes a long but I doubt it. Yeah its annoying to keep on paying for a program like this because I feel it should be a one time fee for atleast minor revisions but it makes you pay annually.
They keep adding more feature which I guess you can count as good. The program is getting more complex over the years but still easy enough to navigate and use.
Cons: Annual subscription is the only faulter I can find. I think this program should more or less be one time fee.
