I really enjoy testing and evaluating software applications & web scripts for webmasters. I occasionally enjoy developing my own software when I have time. Download.com and Hotscripts.com are a couple of my favorite download sites, and Interspire is my favorite web scripts developer.
As far as I know, "the Roboform password manager and web form filler" has no legitimate competition. It is the hands down, best in it's class - Period.
I found a great piece of software that will automatically alert me when it finds changes on any of my favorite web sites by pop-up, sound and / or email. This program will import existing bookmarks, so there is no need to enter URLs by hand. UpdatePatrol can also ignore dynamic page content like site counters and dates if set up to do so.
